News Florence + The Machine announces intimate UK shows

The dates come ahead of the release of her new album ‘Dance Fever’.
Having announced that her highly-anticipated new album ‘Dance Fever’ will be arriving on 13th May via Polydor Records, Florence + The Machine has announced that she’ll be playing three intimate UK shows to celebrate.
She’ll be performing at O2 City Hall in Newcastle on 15th April, King Georges in Blackburn on 16th April and at The Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London on Tuesday 19th April.
Produced by Bleachers’ Jack Antonoff and Glass Animals’ Dave Bayley, ‘Dance Fever’ was inspired by choreomania - “a Renaissance phenomenon in which groups of people - sometimes thousands - danced wildly to the point of exhaustion, collapse and death” - as well as the anticipation of life opening back up after lockdown, and is described by Florence as a “fairytale in 14 songs”.
Florence + The Machine will play Mad Cool Festival, which takes place 6th July - 10th July 2022. DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now.
